This Week Covid-19 Vaccine Available at 128 New VA Sites

With the recent approval of the Moderna Covid-19 Vaccine by the FDA, the VA announced today that the vaccine will be available this week at another 128 additional VA sites.

This is expanded from the 37 sites that received the first batch of vaccines distributed just over a week ago.

The new shipment of vaccines will still be given only to VA health care workers and veterans in long term care facilities.

As more and more Covid-19 vaccines become available, the VA will widen the pool of those eligible to receive the vaccine with the goal to eventually offer it to every veteran and VA health care worker who would like to receive it.

The VA requests that you DO NOT contact your facilities regarding receiving the vaccine. The facilities will contact all veterans and workers who are eligible to receive the vaccine directly.

Both the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine and another shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine will be received at the following facilities this week:
