ATTENTION: All Wheelchair Athletes

The VA has opened registration for the 2015 National Veterans Wheelchair Games, the largest annual wheelchair sporting event in the world.  The Games will be held in Dallas, TX, June 21-26.

 

The Wheelchair Games are for disabled American veterans who must use wheelchairs to participate in sports due to amputations or spinal cord injuries, etc. These warrior athletes, who come from all over the country, display the courage, determination and skills that exemplify our military veterans.

 

This year’s events will include archery, basketball, field events, hand cycling, quad rugby, softball, swimming, track and weightlifting, just to name a few. Registration is open until April 15.  For more information, please go to www.wheelchairgames.org.
